Lunar Eclipse in 3D

Here is a composite image that I put together. Stuart Thomson, an amateur astronomer in Melbourne, Australia took the image on the left. The image on the right is the shot that Dr. Rhodes and I took at Mt. Wilson Observatory. If you cross your eyes as you look at the image, a third moon will appear in between the two originals. It will appear as a sphere do to the parallax distance between Australia and California.
